The Gospel Book, which is also preserved, contains the four Gospels that recount the life of Christ, from the Annunciation to the Passion. These four texts form the foundation of the New Testament; they stand as witnesses to Christ’s life and his miracles. They provide moral examples and serve as the cornerstone of Christian doctrine.
