The play of colors of the very precious decoration inlaid on the filigree obverse consists of a setting of gems and precious stones (cabochons), intaglios (engraved stones), beads (colored glass) or pearls, often reused and mounted in motion. The mount in box allowing, by means of a piece of metal which surrounds it, to stabilize the precious element.
