By manipulating the foot of the cross and zooming in, you can read the very numerous Latin inscriptions, engraved in capitals and most of them enamelled. They accompany the scenes of the dome and the central pillar and the figures in the round. By displaying on phylacteries (unrolled parchments) or directly next to the figures, they make it possible to complete or identify the Old Testament scenes (Old Testament), with very short quotations from the biblical text, and the characters, by their name.
